Text pastes incorrectly into DOS application due to fast pasting enabled.
Cause:
Some DOS applications cannot process the characters properly when fast pasting is used, resulting in lost characters.
Solution:
Clear the 'Fast pasting' check box in the application's 'Misc' tabbed page in the 'Properties' dialog box.
1) Right-click the DOS application's icon. (A pop-up menu appears.)
2) Select 'Properties'. (The 'MS-DOS Properties' dialog box appears.)
3) Click the 'Misc' tab. (The 'Misc' tabbed page appears.)
4) Clear the 'Fast pasting' check box in the 'Other' group.
